Warzone 2.0 has launched Season 2 Reloaded, bringing huge meta changes and a series of instrumental weapon buffs and nerfs. But which are the best guns are players using? Here are the most popular weapons in WZ2, as of April 9, 2023, courtesy of WZRanked.
The weeks have passed and it’s already time for Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded. Players are lapping up new improvements such as auto-looting armor plates and fresh additions to DMZ mode.
Players have a ton of buffs and nerfs to investigate which they can use to tinker with loadouts and discover new metas. The new Tempus Torrent Rifle could be an example of Warzone 2’s future.Article continues after ad

10. PDSW 528 (2.7%)

The PDSW climbed up in popularity with alongside other submachineguns like the Vel 46. But it seems a bit underwhelming compared to its buddies in the top 10. It’s still a great gun, and a unique SMG thanks to its high magazine capacity and medium range capabilities.Article continues after ad
9. Kastov 762 (2.8%)

Kastov 762 sneaked its way into the top 10 most popular guns in Warzone 2 when the KV Broadside dropped out of favor thanks to the latest nerfs. The Kastov 762 is a nice alternative to the overperforming ISO Hemlock and slightly more popular TAQ-56 assault rifles.
8. VEL 46 (3.9%)
ActivisonThe VEL-46 was buffed in Warzone 2’s Season 2 Reloaded patch.
The Vel 46 was popular since the launch of Warzone 2 because of its high fire-rate, decent damage, and minimal recoil. It just never found its way into the top meta pick status until now. With the nerf of other close-range options, Vel is a great alternative to Lachmann Sub and Vaznev.Article continues after ad
7. TAQ-56 (4.0%)
The TAQ-56 is the Scar-H assault rifle and possesses the strengths and weaknesses the rifle has had in past Call of Duty games. Strong damage and range are balanced out by poor handling and mobility. The right attachments and a sensible play style make it eminently more powerful.
6. Signal 50 (4.3%)
ActivisionThe Signal 50 is the Barrett 50. Cal of older CoDs.
The Signal 50 leave a lot to be desired in Modern Warfare 2 but, in Warzone 2, its semi-automatic fire rate and high damage make it an incredibly strong sniper. It still handles very slowly but, so long as snipers can’t one-hit, there’ll be a clamor for the Signal 50 and its unmatched fire rate. Article continues after ad
5. Tempus Torrent (4.6%)

4. Sakin MG38 (6.7%)
ActivisionThe Sakin MG38 debuts on this list in Season Two.
While Season One saw the RPK as by far the most popular LMG, the Sakin MG38 has emerged as a popular pick in Season Two. It’s high damage and excellent range are balanced out by the typical LMG weaknesses; namely poor handling and mobility.Article continues after ad
3. Vaznev-9K (9.6%)
ActivisionThe Vaznev 9K isn’t quite as good as it is in MW2, but it still packs a punch.
Since MW2 launched, the Vaznev 9K has been the pros’ SMG of choice. It’s not quite as strong in Warzone 2 but its damage, handling, and controllable recoil certainly translate. A slight nerf with Season Two has seen it fall in popularity but its definitely climbing back up.
2. Lachmann Sub (11.9%)

Nerfs to the Fennec and Vaznev have undoubtedly opened the door to the Lachmann Sub but, for now, it’s taken the opportunity and sits as the best SMG in the battle royale.
1. ISO Hemlock (19.3%)
ActivisionISO Hemlock in Warzone 2.
Season Two’s ISO Hemlock has dropped hot, to put it mildly. It’s flown up the battle royale’s rankings and, in Modern Warfare 2, has even been removed from Ranked Play as players adjust to its power.
There’s a fair bit of kick here but the right attachments and some practice make it eminently more accurate and deadly. If you can lay down accurate shots, you’ll tear through enemies rapidly.Article continues after ad
