Romanians spend over a billion euros each year on care products, makeup and fragrances. In 2022, L’Oreal was the most important cosmetic producer and distributor in Romania, with a revenue worth nearly 759 million Romanian lei, followed by Sarantis România with a revenue of 463.5 million Romanian lei. The highest net profit was also achieved by L’Oreal at 82 million Romanian lei. Although there was no data on Beiersdorf, in 2021 it’s revenue in Romania was 302.6 million Romanian lei.
